The Rain That Never Fell

Not sure if it is part of the book yet or not, but I felt inspired so;

It fell
From that high vantage point
Above the ground
That perfect teardrop

Falling
On its way down, pointing
Link the heaven and the earth, grounding
The link between the cliff and the drop

It wasn’t rain
It was a tear
It wasn’t joy
It was pain

It was fear for the unknown
It was fear for what has been lost
It was fear for what will be lost
It was fear for mistakes known

It was the rain that never fell

I am not who I say I am but who my writing says I am; my characters define me. Like puppets in a play, they tell you who pulls the strings. I'm not who I say I am; I'm who you think I am.
