She sat down

It was that day again

But still she didn’t feel it

It eluded her and made her frown

Again and again

Why couldn’t she feel it?

He walked around

Not bothered by the rain

He already had too many problems of his to notice it

He felt down

He felt the pain

Nobody seemed to notice it

It was valentine’s day

And she wondered why no one sent her flowers

Why no one held her close

And whispered quietly into her ear

It was valentine’s day

And he wondered why no one spent hours

Holding him close

Or gently stroking his hair

They met

Two victims of love

They stared at each other until the sun set

As if it was destined from above

Happy Valentines Day

I am not who I say I am but who my writing says I am; my characters define me. Like puppets in a play, they tell you who pulls the strings. I'm not who I say I am; I'm who you think I am.
