Daily Prompt My Literature Poems Prompt

For You Are Imaginary

I drank if a life together

A house on the hills

We were in love forever

And I love you still

The sun as red as your cheeks

Your eyes as blue as the sky

This truth I seek

Is but a bed of lies

AN hallucination of my own making

An illusion that makes my vision blurry

And as my mind starts breaking

I say I’m sorry

For you are imaginary
